Mark is a chartered quantity surveyor with over 30 years’ experience, working with major clients in the construction sector. He has delivered all aspects of cost management and contract management throughout all stages of project delivery.

For the majority of his working life Mark has acted in the capacity of team leader, managing and coaching teams, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.   

Becky Riley

Director

Becky is a highly capable, qualified cost consultant with demonstrable experience working on civil engineering projects across several sectors. She has over 14 years experience working in co-located environments, on projects at all stages of delivery.

Becky is a clear communicator and effective decision maker, and regarded as a professional with a dedicated, focussed approach to her work.

Dan Laycock

Senior Consultant

Dan has over 12 years' experience delivering cost, risk, and contract management services across several sectors, including highways, bridges, water, and rail, with projects ranging in value from £100k to £40m and frameworks up to £1.2bn.

Dan is conversant with quantity surveying tasks and is accustomed to working in collaborative environments and working as part of a team, whilst also able to lead proactively.

Noel Partland

Senior Consultant

Noel is a quantity surveyor, employer’s agent, and project manager with over 25 years’ experience.

Noel has experience across a number of sectors including retail, leisure, healthcare, commercial development, industrial and distribution, education, residential, hotels, and infrastructure projects.

Noel brings a commercially focussed approach to the delivery of projects, understanding the key drivers of the client and all major stakeholders involved.

Tom Cochrane

Senior Consultant

Tom is a chartered quantity surveyor and project manager with 35 years’ experience.

Tom brings a wealth of experience which spans across a number of sectors including retail, leisure, energy,  healthcare, commercial development, education, residential, hotels and infrastructure projects based in both consultancy and client organisations.

Tom understands the key drivers and constraints of projects and has a background of successfully delivering projects for client organisations.

Kevin Chesworth

Senior Consultant

With 30 years’ experience in the civil engineering consultancy sector, Kevin specialises in the management and delivery of infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients. He provides project management and contract management services that are underpinned by Kevin’s technical and commercial expertise.

Kevin has experience across several sectors including local authorities and highways. As a project manager Kevin brings a level of control to his projects, that aids with schemes being delivered to programme and budget.

Gareth Wassell

Forensic Planner

Gareth is a chartered civil engineer with over 28 years' experience. He has worked within collaborative environments throughout all stages of project delivery.

Gareth's main attributes include ensuring compliance with contract documents, production, developing and review of tender and construction programmes, time and cost assessments of change, and liaison with design teams and third parties.

Throughout his career he has provided innovative solutions to overcome major construction challenges and proposed changes to construction methodologies resulting in reductions in activity durations, actual costs, risks to site personnel and/or the environment.

Michael Howard

Quality Assurance

Michael has over 35 years industry experience and is a highly experienced and proactive NEC accredited highways construction professional, providing a construction led and design guide on varied infrastructure projects.

Always at the forefront of projects with a career of successfully delivering complex and challenging highway schemes to the highest standards. Experienced in working for client, consultant, and main contractors with pre and post contract involvement.

Michael is also an experienced mentor helping to encourage and educate junior members of staff and graduate engineers in the practical and delivery aspects of highway construction

Dave Riding

Quality Assurance

Dave has almost 40 years industry experience and is a highly experienced highways and construction Supervisor/Clerk of Works. He is an excellent ‘team player’ and has a vast knowledge of all highways construction methods and performance monitoring. He is able to give engineering solutions and best advice at both design and construction stages.

Dave has expert knowledge of the testing and verification processes to help achieve the completion of projects to the highest quality and is always keen to to instil a ‘right first time’ culture throughout the construction process.
